WD, as a sub-consultant to another design firm, provided assistance with engineering design for this design/build project that involved the rehabilitation of an existing three span continuous steel beam structure on U.S. 62 over the Tuscarawas River. The proposed design included new semi-integral abutments, approach slabs, composite reinforced concrete deck on new elastomeric bearing on modified abutment seats and pier caps.
WD provided the following services for the project, including:
• All existing conditions surveys (including high definition surveys and hydraulic information)
• Utility coordination
• Structure load rating
• Bridge plan review
Total Construction Cost: $826,507
